研究業績
研究分野活動
本教員は非線形の回路とシステムに関する工学的研究を行う。主な研究分野は電子回路のカオス・強化学習アルゴリズム・マルチエージェントシステム(MAS)である。　カオスは決定論的な非線形動的システムに発生する乱雑な振動である。自然界や工学系の現象として我々の生活と関連し、前者は数学・物理学・生物学、後者は機械工学・電気工学等の分野で研究されている。強化学習は学習者の行動を最適化する学習であり、人工知能や機械学習の分野で注目されている。この学習は、人間や動物が身体の制御ルールを適応的に獲得する方法として知られる。MASは離散時間・離散状態で定義される多数の人の動きのモデルであり、災害時の避難行動・駅やテーマパークでの混雑・自動車の自然渋滞などのモデルとして注目されている。
研究課題
電子回路のカオスでは、新現象の発見や分類・メカニズムの解明を目的とする。現在の主なサブテーマは、カオス発生回路の結合系である。この結合系には電子回路以外の分野を含め様々な分野の非線形現象を理解する上での例題として、基本的で重要な役割がある。またカオスとパワーエレクトロニクス分野との関連も考察している。強化学習アルゴリズムでは、新しい例題の提案と解決、アルゴリズムの改良による適用範囲の拡大を目的とする。その工学的応用として特に、船の航路決定に注目している。マルチエージェントシステム(MAS)の研究では、混雑した場所での人の流れに注目し、そこで発生する時空間パターンの分類と解析を目的とする。
